The Municipality of North Bruce Peninsula is considering a 90 m cell tower in a "dark skies" region. This risks environmental EHS refuges, and S. Ontario's only UNESCO natural heritage site.

Educators are refusing to work, due to health concerns over emissions from numerous network antennas on a nearby cell tower. This action is also for children's health. Radiofrequency emissions are harmful, and children are most vulnerable.

PCN and C4ST examined submissions to the ISED 26, 28 and 38 GHz consultations, and found a surprising agreement between the telecommunications companies and the citizens' groups, that the auction should not proceed as planned.

Joint Statement to Industry, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) in response to: Consultation on a Policy and Licensing Framework for Spectrum in the 26, 28 and 38 GHz Bands.

There has been no research on the long-term health effects of mmWaves. There is strong scientific evidence that radiation from current (pre-5G) wireless technologies causes serious adverse effects. 5G will worsen the existing problem.

Hundreds of peer-reviewed scientific publications since Health Canada’s most recent review of radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation show serious effects in humans as well as diverse biota.

All health concerns were dismissed by Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED), relying on Health Canada — despite the evidence presented by citizens and non-industry organizations representing close to 100,000 Canadians.
