Canada's environmental racism bill, Bill C-226 is stalled in the Senate. PCN is one of more than 30 Canadian environment, health and other NGOs urging the Senate to move it forward before the summer recess.

The House of Commons committee approved the bill without amendment, so the bill is now in line for a final vote in the House of Commons and must then be passed in the Senate.
